Complete your beginning of year 1x1 Start: January 18th | Due: February 9th Make an appointment to see me and talk about your college goals for Junior year. Completed Community Service Start: January 18th | Due: May 25th It is always good to give back to you community. We are all required to have three hours of community service. Junior Submit 1 Scholarship Application Start: January 26th | Due: April 13th This is a good way to gain experience with scholarships, before the chaos of Senior year rolls around. Completed 1 application Essay Start: February 2nd | Due: March 9th This is a great way to give you an idea of what colleges expect for your writting sample. It is also a good way for me to get to know you and what motives you! Registered for Exam Start: February 2nd | Due: March 9th It is a good idea to take the SAT or ACT once as a Junior to get a good sense of the exam feels like. You may also qualify for a fee waiver so that you don't have to pay for it. Completed 1 Exam Start: February 16th | Due: May 11th Follow through with your registration and complete the exam! Registered for 2nd Exam Start: March 9th | Due: April 27th Its a good idea to take both major tests in order to see which one you may excell at. If you would rather just take the same exam twice. If you do well you won't have to take the exam again Senior. Completed Resume Draft Start: March 19th | Due: April 6th Having a resume helps have information about yourself at the ready while applying for colleges. Registered for 2nd Exam Start: March 9th | Due: April 27th Its a good idea to take both major tests in order to see which one you may excell at. If you would rather just take the same exam twice. If you do well you won't have to take the exam again Senior. Completed Final Matrix Start: March 19th | Due: April 27th A Matrix is a good way to list the schools that you may be interested in and the requirements there are to get there.
